Touch of Class Plants Product Catalogue

Every year, Touch of Class Plants produce a catalogue featuring their plant lines for the following year. This catalogue is sent globally to their wholesale clients.

The specifications? One hundred pages (sometimes more), custom design, with a super-gloss laminate cover printed on a 350gsm gloss stock (it is *really* glossy) with the internal pages printed on 150gsm paper, and a print run of approximately 2500.

Touch of Class is always one of our favourite clients to work with — who doesn’t love plants?

Have you ever suffered from Paralysis of Choice, sometimes known as choice overload? What's that, you ask? Paralysis of Choice is what happens when you are presented with too many options at once. Think of when you sit down on the couch to flick through Netflix and find yourself still scrolling through an hour later and not really knowing what to watch... That's Paralysis of Choice.

We were recently asked by Drapac EF to compile their Press Kit for 2018. As well as managing the design and printing of the booklet, VTWO were responsible for providing on-site photography, resulting in a finished (and very polished) final product.

A Press Kit is sent to current sponsors, external media (reporters, magazines, and media) and potential sponsors and is critical to capture the important aspects of a brand. In Drapac Cycling’s case, their unique holistic approach to life after cycling.

VTWO x Commonwealth Games

VTWO was recently tasked with providing coverage of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games for Athletics Australia. Whilst the magnitude and scale of the event was one of the largest we’ve covered, it’s something we welcomed and prepared for.

VTWO Co-Founder Andy Gooding relished the opportunity - “the challenge of covering simultaneous events is something we at VTWO have managed to successfully manage for a number of years now. You get immersed in the atmosphere and relish in the satisfaction of being responsible to bring that to people’s lives across the world. The performance of the Australian track and field team was immense; it was a privilege to document it so closely.”

As the Games came to a close, Athletics Australia’s President was impressed with how it all came together - “Our coverage of the Games went well beyond my expectations of what we could achieve in such little time.”

VTWO provided photography coverage of all events coupled with real time updates across social media platforms tailored to individual events and results. We’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to document and leave our mark on what was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved in Gold Coast 2018.

PUKA UP

In addition to our ongoing role of media, content creation and strategy for Puka Up, we documented the inaugural Puka Up Suicide Prevention Bike Ride in March of this year.

The 1,433km ride from Sydney to Melbourne aimed to raise awareness with the goal to stop suicide, an outcome of a crisis that claimed 2,866 Australian lives in 2016.

VTWO's Dan Wilkins; "Puka Up is not just something we market; it's something we believe. 2,866 lives lost is an incredible statistic. It's unacceptable. Stopping the stigma around mental health is a necessity. We all need to do our best to create safe spaces for people to be genuine and authentic regarding how they feel."

WELCOME: NICK KATSONIS

 Yes, we took this. No, it's not from the 2018 Calvin Klein catalogue.

Yes, we took this. No, it's not from the 2018 Calvin Klein catalogue.

Following the addition of Ryan Impey as Design Director in late 2017, we’re now welcoming Nick Katsonis to the VTWO Crew.

Nick will take on a Community Management role adding to our growing range of client services and content creation abilities.

A semi-professional cyclist up until the end of 2017, and an alumnus of Drapac Cycling's holistic development program, Nick will be working closely with our account management and design team, bringing fresh ideas to brand strategy and our content development process.

Dan Wilkins, co-founder of VTWO, said "Nick brings a new perspective into VTWO. We are always looking for people who can add to our offerings, and in-turn provide for our clients. Nick fits these criteria brilliantly. It's also a bonus Nick gets to put his study into practice, something many students don't have the opportunity to do."

Nick can draw on his knowledge of his marketing degree, which alongside his role at VTWO, he is currently enrolled in and will complete in 2019.

We we're recently approached by Avan Australia to implement a two week social campaign to highlight brand awareness and an upcoming event, the Victorian Caravan & Camping Show, here in Melbourne. Through utilising Instagram, Instagram Stories, and Facebook, VTWO were able to direct above and beyond Avan's expectations, traffic (online, and foot-traffic) to the Avan stall at the expo and to further enquiries via their sales channels.

SHAVING IT FOR THE LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION

Carmen Barry's story.

"Hi there!

I am raising money for blood cancer by shaving my head. I would love it if you can sponsor me so we can help give families the emotional and practical support they need when faced with the devastating news.

My goal is to raise $560 which helps a regional family with accommodation and costs for treatment in the city. When my Dad had Hodgkin's Lymphoma (twice ...it came back after the first chemotherapy treatment) it meant weeks away from home, a 4 hour drive from Melbourne. So if we can raise enough money for other regional families (more than 1 would be amazing) I would love it!

Ryan Impey & Co. Merges with VTWO

Who says Mondays are bad?

After adding Mitch Wells as Strategy & Content Manager to our team earlier this year, increasing our client services and content creation capabilities, we again have acquired amazing talent.

Today, design studio, Ryan Impey & Co. is merging into VTWO. Ryan will be taking on the role of Design Director.

After starting primarily as a marketing strategy agency, we at VTWO have added numerous other services including, content creation, platform management, event conception and execution, and design over the past 3 years. Whilst satisfied with the design work we produced, we knew we wanted to take it to the next level, and Ryan’s credentials certainly help us do that.

ALSO! We have moved to our own studio, located at 1/387 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne. Our new home allows us to create with increased efficiency, something we have been frequently required to do over the last 10 months.

The VTWO crew is expanding with some brilliantly talented people. And we have a new HQ to show it off.

The Rapha Prestige

Rapha is, in their own words “more than just a clothing company." In addition to an online emporium of performance roadwear, accessories and publications, the brand includes physical retail locations, luxury travel, and a cycling club with global membership”

The Rapha Prestige was an unsupported, un-marshalled adventure around the Victorian coastal towns of Flinders, Shoreham, Portsea and Point Nepean culminating in a finish just over the iconic Arthurs Seat. It was the first Women’s Prestige in Australia.

Through on-site research and brand identity, we developed the story befitting of the Rapha brand and the participants of the Women’s Prestige. Executing on our strategy, we filmed, edited and released multiple edits of content, suited to all existing Rapha platforms. Subsequently, the Rapha Prestige Merricks sat in Rapha International’s top-5 most watched videos for almost a year.
